The ʻIo is the only hawk that is native to Hawaiʻi, and fossil evidence indicates that it inhabited the island of Hawaii, Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai at one time. Pianist Jonathan Korth enjoys a multifaceted career as a soloist, chamber musician, collaborator, and teacher, having performed recitals across the United States, Canada, and France to critical acclaim. He is on the piano faculty at the UHM Music Department.
